1.How do I apply for the HARTMANN International Graduate Program?
Every position we have for the International Graduate Program is advertised on our career page. You can apply by clicking on the button "Apply now" that you find on the respective job advertisement. After creating a profile, you can upload your application documents (Cover letter, CV, Certificates) and we will come back to you within two weeks.
2.How many months in advance should I apply?
Due to different starting dates for our Graduate Programs, not all the positions are posted at the same time. In case your preferred International Graduate Program is currently not available in our job portal, you can follow us on LinkedIn to be aware of all new job postings.
3.Can I apply to several HARTMANN International Graduate Program positions?
Yes, you are allowed to hand in your application for several positions. However, each position is offered in a different area, and you should bring experience and motivation in exactly that field.
4.Can I apply to the HARTMANN International Graduate Program even if I am not living in the hiring country?
Yes, as this is an International Graduate Program, we are looking forward to receiving international applications and recruiting from other countries than Germany as well.
5.Do I need to speak German to apply for the HARTMANN International Graduate Program?
The German language requirements depend on the position. Please look at the respective job advertisement to see if it is required. Please note that English as our business language is always necessary.
6.Does HARTMANN sponsor visas for international students?
All nationalities can apply to the program. However, the candidate is responsible for applying for residence and working visas. HARTMANN supports the upcoming trainee in this regard. Please note that no monetary, but only documentation support is provided by HARTMANN in the visa application /extension process.
7.Would HARTMANN assist in applying for an EU-Blue card for graduates with Non-EU Nationality?
In case of successful recruitment, HARTMANN will support the EU-Blue card application process by providing essential documents. However, it is the responsibility of the graduates to schedule an appointment with the Foreign Employment Office and collect the visa. Note that for the start of the employment, a valid German work and residence permit is mandatory.
8.Is my program already fixed, or can I choose the departments for my assignments within the graduate program?
As the program follows a structured process, the first assignment is set. For the international assignment and the cross-functional assignment, individual wishes can be taken care of. The last assignment is in the ideal case the department where the placement afterward will take place, which is not set from the beginning, but will develop throughout the program.
9.How many rotations will I have and how long do they last?
In most cases, there will be 4 rotations, and each will last about 4-6 months. However, this can vary from department to department and depends also on the start date of the program.
10.Where will I go for my international rotation(s)?
There is no fixed plan for your international rotation(s) when you join the International Graduate Program. Depending on factors such as business needs, available projects, and especially your professional and personal development, the program managers will make sure to find a rotation for you that allows you to learn, develop and contribute in one of our 36 offices worldwide.
11.Is the assignment abroad mandatory?
As this is an International Graduate Program, we offer and like our trainees to take advantage of the international assignment. However, it is not mandatory, and the duration can be set according to personal needs.
12.What is my employment status as a member of the HARTMANN International Graduate Program?
As an international graduate, you are a fully employed employee.
13.Is the HARTMANN International Graduate Program paid?
Yes, the program is paid. Your salary will be comparable to an entry-level position. The compensation and benefits package including components such as pension and health insurance are based on local terms and depend on which country you are hired in. Finally, you will have various health and fitness offers, e.g., yoga during lunch break, cooperation with fitness studios, company doctor, and massage offers.
14.What are the career prospects at HARTMANN after such a program?
Our trainees are the managers of HARTMANNs future and therefore we try to find out throughout the program where your strengths fit best and will place you in a position where you can further develop and take on responsibility.
