We love curious types who have the courage to ask questions. Are you still seeking an answer about working with us? Below we answer those questions we are most frequently asked. If your question still remains unanswered, please do email our Talent Acquisition team: recruiting@hartmann.info
Is COVID-19 adversely impacting your recruitment process?
Coronavirus is proving a major challenge for all of us. But at HARTMANN we do not shy away from a challenge. We still need great people to join us and we are still actively recruiting. We have adapted our recruitment process to keep everyone safe. Please do continue to search and apply for roles with us – we look forward to receiving your application.
I can’t find my dream job with you, can I just send you my CV?
Unfortunately, we are not accepting unsolicited applications currently. If you have searched our vacancies but cannot find the right role for you yet, then JOIN OUR TALENT NETWORK. We will tell you when opportunities matching your interests arise.
Can I send a handwritten/paper application?
Unfortunately, we cannot accept handwritten/paper applications any more. Due to data protection requirements and your necessary consent to the data protection policy we ask you to apply online. Just follow the link within our job advertisement to electronically apply for it. You’ll need your CV, cover letter, references and certificates at the ready.
What happens if you ask me to an interview?
We typically have a two-stage interview process. Your first interview will take place remotely. If that goes well, we will invite you to a second interview. That would normally take place face-to-face but we have built in some flexibility so your second interview might be:
• Conducted virtually: Most likely using Skype for Business.
• In person: Meeting with a socially safe distance.
• Postponed: Until everyone feels comfortable to travel or meet in person.
Which tools will I need for remote interviews?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Our preference is to use Skype for business or MS Teams and we will provide you with an accessible link that does not require registration details. We can also connect with you via Microsoft Teams or (for a first interview) by phone.
What tech will I need for a remote interview?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
• A laptop or PC (with webcam). It may be possible to instead connect via your smartphone or a tablet but please check with your recruiter in advance.
• A stable internet connection.
• A headset with microphone.
If you are invited to a remote interview but do not have access to all the necessary technical equipment, please do not worry – just let us know.
