In this position you are responsible for the optimal development of the entire product range. This in close cooperation with the Marketing colleagues, with the Business Units and with the Head Office in order to achieve the set objectives.

You gather and share knowledge about the market, the customers and the competition; you follow trends and developments and come up with proposals to quickly respond to changes and opportunities.

In this position, you will report to the Business Unit Director Benelux.

 

This role is a great opportunity for a passionate professional willing to invest, develop her- himself as Product Manager within an international environment (homeworking possible up to 2 days per week).

 

The Product Manager Risk Prevention Benelux employee will contribute to the development of our organization by:

 

Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing strategic plans, annual marketing plans and product launch initiatives for operation theater in the Benelux.
  • Identifying and highlighting new customer needs, making improvements to products and programs.
  • Conducting competitive intelligence to improve market positioning.
  • Developing segmentation and targeting methods to improve sales efficiency.

 

Strategic Marketing and External Relations:

 

  • Gathering and sharing knowledge about the market, the customers, and the competition; following trends and developments and proposing solutions to quickly respond to changes and opportunities.
  • Building and maintaining contacts with key opinion leaders, accompanying the sales team to customers, and making external presentations where necessary.
  • Organizing and participating in trade fairs, conferences, symposia, and other events with customers.
  • Representing the company at external meetings.
  • In the international dynamic Hartmann organization, maintaining a positive, effective, and close dialogue with the international colleagues and business divisions.
  • Reporting on a weekly basis to the Sales & Marketing Director Benelux on the progress and results of the various planned activities and projects, sales results, market situation, etc.

 

The position is based in Belgium – Saintes, and regular travel to the Netherlands (max. 10% of the time) is an essential part of this role to collaborate with our teams there and attend meetings.

 

Qualifications

To make this position a success, we are looking for someone who initially fulfils the function described above, who has interest in the culture of Paul Hartmann and shares its values.

 

In addition, we are looking for the following education, experience and skills:

 

  • You preferably have a paramedical diploma (e.g. nurse).
  • Professional marketing experience and/or solid B2B marketing experience in the medical devices sector is required.
  • You are bilingual (FR/NL) and have a perfect command of English.
  • You are fluent in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • You are dynamic, enthusiastic, flexible, rigorous and creative, and you put your heart and soul into achieving the results you set out to achieve.
  • In this position, you get a lot of freedom so working independently is a must.
  • You consider yourself as a high performer, customer-oriented and passionate team player.
