Regional Business Development Manager
ESP-Mataró (Barcelona)
As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for driving business growth, optimizing commercial efficiency, ensuring full alignment in pricing and corporate sales policies and implementing strategic projects across the Southwestern Europe, Africa & Middle East Region. This role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to foster synergies among key stakeholders, ensuring sustainable expansion and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Business Development:
- Identify and develop new market opportunities within hospitals, pharmacies, and nursing homes in alignment with Business Divisions.
- Build and manage relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners to expand business presence.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
- Project Implementation & Management:
- Lead the planning and execution of business development initiatives to ensure timely and cost-effective implementation.
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, marketing, sales, Business Divisions) to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor project and business KPIs and continuously optimize processes for improved outcomes.
- Commercial Efficiency & Sales Optimization:
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance sales performance and profitability.
- Ensure the implementation of Commercial Efficiency tools within the Southwestern Europe, Africa & Middle East region in close collaboration with CommEx department.
- Ensure “launch excellence” in alignment with Countries and Business Divisions
- Optimize pricing structures, distribution channels, and customer engagement strategies.
- Leverage data analytics to drive decision-making and operational improvements.
- Continuous Improvement & Synergy Creation:
- Identify areas for operational and commercial improvement, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Foster collaboration between different business units, countries and other regions, and partners to maximize efficiency and innovation.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, adapting best practices from different markets.
Requirements:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Healthcare Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development/commercial, preferably in the healthcare or sanitary materials sector.
- Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully implementing business initiatives.
- Proven ability to drive commercial efficiency and optimize sales strategies.
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work across diverse cultural and business environments.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages (French, Spanish, Arabic) are a plus.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned regions.
