Legal Technician
ESP-Mataró (Barcelona)
We are looking for an experienced Legal Counsel with a focus on civil, commercial and competition law in the field of medical devices. As a competent business partner for legal issues you will provide advice and possible solutions for all activities in the different business areas on legal issues.
Responsabilities:
- Legal advice for internal stakeholders as a business partner in the Legal & Compliance team.
- Follow up of litigation proceedings by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders (including control, monitoring and coordination of external counsels).
- Responsibility for all legal issues of the business partners particularly in the areas of civil, commercial and competition law, with a focus on issues in contract law.
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts.
- Analyzing, determining and handling legal risks in the business in line with HARTMANN's global strategy and standards.
- Monitoring legal developments and implementing relevant findings in the day-to-day work of the Legal & Compliance team.
- Advise and provide guidance about compliance standards and policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in law, emphasis in business corporate law.
- Experience in the medical device/health industry is desirable but not a must.
- Ability to understand complex laws & regulations.
- Between 3 and 5 years of experience as Legal Counsel in a law firm or as inhouse counsel in a big corporation.
- Fluent knowledge of Spanish and English written and spoken.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Ability to work independently on projects.
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally, build strong relationships and become a trusted partner to relevant stakeholders.
- Negotiation and problem solving skills.
