HR Business Partner Portugal / Talent Acquisition & People Development Consultant

As the HR Business Partner Portugal / Talent Acquisition & People Development Consultant, you will be responsible for leading the Human Resources function within your area of responsibility, acting as a strategic partner to the assigned business unit and serving as an internal consultant.

You will provide expert support in talent acquisition and people development across the different countries within Region 2, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic goals and fostering a high-performance culture.

 

Responsabilities:

  • Definition of HR policies aligned with corporate procedures and ensure its implementation in the country (Portugal).
  • Sizing of the local organizational structure: cost plans/ headcounts/ forecast/ organizational changes and risk analysis.
  • Manage local labor relation issues.
  • Design and implement training programs based on local business needs and support in organizing regionaltraining programs in coordination with the Regional Talent Acquisition & People Development.
  • Define the search strategy for the local recruiting processes with the internal customer and carry out theprocess as well as supporting HR teams in Region 2.
  • Lead the corporate projects aligned with the Regional Talent Acquisition & People Development and Regional Compensation & Benefit Managers for its implementation in the country (Portugal).
  • Lead the local Performance Management System (PDP) in SuccessFactors to support Managers to developand improve their team's performance: setting business and individual targets, defining development goals, performance evaluation and succession plans creation. 
  • Participate in Global Communities of Practices.
  • Regional Key User SuccessFactors Recruiting Module.
  • Regional Key User Back Up LMS (Learning Management System)

 

Your area of responsibility in the Compliance area:

  • Identify compliance risks and further develop compliance in the organization.
  • Define compliance strategy for the local organization as well as supporting Compliance team in Region 2.
  • Monitor compliance with compliance policies and requirements.
  • Lead the implementation of compliance policies and procedures aligned with the Regional Compliance Manager.
  • Advisory to employees with regard to compliance matters and policies.
  • Identifying training needs regarding compliance procedures as well as training employees.
  • Investigating and solving compliance related issues.
  • Developing tools and methods to track and report relevant information.

 

 

Requirements:

  • University degree in Labor Relations, Law, Psychology or Business. Master’s degree in Human Resources is an asset.
  • Functional experience in Labor Relations, Recruitment and People Development.
  • Availability to travel to Portugal up to 20% of the time.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar position (HR BP / Talent Acquisition and People Development).
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese. Knowledge of Spanish will be an asset.
  • Experience in compliance is desirable but not a must.
  • Ability to understand compliance laws & regulations.
  • Excellent training and communication skills.
