About the Role

 

We are seeking a driven and commercially focused Account Manager or Clinical Account Manager to join our Sales team and manage a portfolio of residential aged care customers across NSW. Working across our wound care, continence management and skin care portfolio, you will be responsible for retaining and growing existing business while identifying and converting new opportunities. You will build trusted relationships with the people who select, manage and use our products every day, including carers, nurses, clinical leaders, facility managers, procurement teams and senior decision-makers. Combining strategic account management with practical education and product support, you will help aged care teams achieve positive outcomes for their organisations and the residents in their care.

 

This opportunity may suit either:

  • Registered Nurse with demonstrated commercial, sales or business development experience; or
  • An experienced healthcare Account Manager with a strong record of sales performance.

For both pathways, commercial capability and a genuine commitment to improving customer and resident outcomes are essential.

 

 

What You’ll Be Doing

 

 

Territory Sales and Growth

  • Drive sales and profitability across your NSW territory
  • Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities within the aged care sector
  • Retain and grow existing accounts through strategic account management
  • Develop and execute territory and customer account plans
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and record customer activity through CRM systems
  • Use customer and sales insights to support forecasting and territory performance
 
Customer and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build trusted relationships with carers, nurses, clinical leaders, procurement teams, facility managers and senior decision-makers
  • Engage effectively with both frontline care teams and organisational stakeholders
  • Understand each customer’s clinical, operational and commercial priorities
  • Position HARTMANN as a knowledgeable, responsive and reliable healthcare partner
  • Conduct value-based discussions and recommend solutions aligned with customer and resident needs
  • Coordinate engagement across individual facilities, regional groups and head-office stakeholders
  • Gather feedback from carers and clinical teams to identify opportunities for improved product use and customer support
 
Product Education and Support

  • Deliver practical product education and training to carers, nurses and other members of the aged care team
  • Tailor education to different audiences, responsibilities and levels of product knowledge
  • Support product evaluations, implementation activities and ongoing customer adoption
  • Help frontline teams use wound care, continence management and skin care products confidently and effectively
  • Build advocacy among carers and clinical teams through practical and responsive support
  • Use clinical or product expertise to support positive customer, resident and commercial outcomes

About You
 
 
You are commercially driven, customer focused and confident building relationships at every level, from frontline carers to senior decision-makers.You will bring:

  • Proven commercial or sales experience
  • Experience in B2B sales, account management or business development
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, develop and close opportunities
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder-influencing skills
  • The ability to communicate confidently with frontline care teams and senior stakeholders
  • A practical, respectful and engaging approach to customer education
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation capabilities
  • Strong territory planning, organisation and time-management skills
  • Confidence using CRM systems and sales data
  • A proactive, accountable and collaborative approach
  • A current driver’s licence and the ability to travel across the NSW territory

Clinical Account Manager Pathway

  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
  • Experience in aged care, community care or a related healthcare environment
  • Previous commercial, sales or business development experience
  • Knowledge of wound care, continence management or skin care would be highly regarded

Account Manager Pathway

  • Demonstrated success in healthcare, medical consumables or solution-based sales
  • Experience working with aged care providers or complex customer organisations
  • A strong record of growing existing accounts and winning new business
  • Experience engaging with clinical, procurement and operational stakeholders would be advantageous
