Sales Training Manager
- National Role
Job Summary
The Sales Training Manager will be responsible for training the sales organisation on selling platforms such as 7 Steps Selling, Insights Learning, Success Factors as well as clinical capability, new hire training, new hire on-boarding, and field-based training. Bench marking and developing capability in TSM, RBM, HPM, CPM, and Customer Services. In addition you will work collaboratively with the UK leadership team on meetings such as the National Sales Meeting and other ad hoc meetings.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Design and develop training sessions and material for sales force employees and clinical educators that increase sales skills and knowledge. Training will be job-specific and should coincide with the key priorities of the business; including New Hire Sales Training(s), key product launches, National and Regional meetings, Field Sales Training program, teleconferences, skills validation and other identified training opportunities.
- Develop and deliver new hire training using a blended learning approach with home study, live training sessions, and assessments. Provide feedback to managers on new hire performance.
- Design and analyze assessments to identify skills and knowledge gaps on all learning goals for all field roles.
- Work closely with marketing team members to ensure a thorough understanding of products in the marketplace and to develop training to support tactical implementation of marketing strategy; partner effectively with Sales, Compliance, Customer Service and any other strategic partners to develop and deliver training as needed.
- Monitor, analyse and communicate performance data to assess training effectiveness and identify new training needs.

- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- To carry out any other duties commensurate to the post as required by your manager
Person Specification
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Experience
- 3 years’ training experience including delivery of training content specifically for field-sales personnel
Skills & Attributes
Demonstrated understanding of the selling process.
- Ability to analyse performance gaps and develop training to close the gap and drive performance
- Ability to motivate others, provide constructive feedback, and coach effectively
- Demonstrated ability to effectively engage an audience, clearly communicate training objectives and deliver training in an interactive, educational and effective manner
- Strong interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to build relationships and effectively connect with others
- Must be willing and able to travel up to 40%.
