Senior Manager Lean Management (f/m/d)

Join our team as a Senior Manager Lean Management and lead the charge in transforming our plant operations into a lean, efficient, and innovative powerhouse. We are seeking a dynamic individual with a proven track record in Operational Management and Lean methodologies to drive continuous improvement and shape the future of our organization. You'll collaborate closely with the plant leadership team and coach plant organization to drive Operational efficiency with Lean strategies and tools, as well as leveraging Digital Manufacturing tools and Industry 4.0 solutions.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Implement Lean strategies in our plant in Herbrechtingen to optimize processes and drive efficiency.
  • Provide comprehensive training, coaching, and mentorship on Lean principles to all levels of the plant and the HARTMANN organization.
  • Identify process inefficiencies, initiate improvements, and standardize processes for maximum effectiveness.
  • Lead Lean projects, ensuring goals are defined, resources are allocated, and projects are completed successfully.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders especially from the different values streams to champion Lean initiatives and ensure successful implementation.
  • Monitor performance metrics and conduct regular assessments to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Represent our plant in the Global Lean Network, sharing and implementing best practices.
  • Promote a culture of Digital/Industry 4.0, integrating digital tools to enhance Lean initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the company. 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • University degree in business administration, engineering or related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in Operations management (leading production teams, delivering Operational results, implementing projects and improvements).
  • Proven record of applying Lean principles and methodologies, ability and passion to teach and coach Lean to wide range of organization.
  • Project management expertise in Production environment with a focus on team development.
  • IT skills in MS Office and different reporting tools.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills and previous experience in change management.
  • Fluent in German and English and the ability to collaborate on a cross-functional and international level.
