Consultant IT PMO & Project Management (f/m/d)

As a Consultant IT PMO & Project Management at PAUL HARTMANN AG, you will play a vital role in supporting our IT Project Management Office (PMO) with various tasks including overseeing the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) process, managing IT projects, conducting project reviews, and providing project management training. This position requires effective communication skills in both English and German, as well as the ability to collaborate cross-functionally in an international environment.

 

Your area of responsibility:                                                                                                                                        

  • Support the IT Project Management Office (PMO) with the PPM process and IT project management.
  • Provide IT project management training to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  • Conduct IT project reviews to evaluate performance, identify areas for improvement, and ensure project success.
  • Manage IT projects effectively, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Perform IT communication activities to keep stakeholders informed about project progress, risks, and issues.
  • Handle operative and coordinative management tasks to support the PMO team

 

What we look for:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • First working experience in project management is preferred.
  • Affinity for IT and a good understanding of IT project management principles.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and work as part of an international team.
  • Demonstrated learning agility and self-reflection to continuously improve performance.
  • Very good skills in MS Office 365 are mandatory.
  • Project management certification (e.g. PRINCE2) is a plus.
  • Proficient in communicating effectively and efficiently in both English and German.
