Category Manager Direct Procurement (f/m/d)

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Supply Base Management in the field of Direct Procurement in the area Turkey / Middle East
  • Build up and extension of sustainable supplier relationships (selection, qualification, development)
  • Focus is on raw materials and traded goods cross divisional (Incontinence Management / Risk Prevention)
  • Align supplier strategies and measures with Category Managers and in the cross-functional team
  • Drive proactive risk management (scouting, supply, quality, CSR)
  • Development and implementation of commercial and design to cost-reduction measures

 

Qualifications:

  • Regional market expertise in Turkey / Middle East
  • 5+ years of professional experience in supplier relationship management or related sectors with according responsibility       
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (MBA) in business administration, engineering or similar
  • Negotiation skills, ability to work independently, internationally with good judgement and persuasive power
  • Good practice in professional business relationship with suppliers
  • Team player, intercultural competence, and excellent Stakeholder Management
  • Strong communication skills especially Tukish/Arab, English (and German) fluent
