(Junior) Manager Global Product Development (f/m/d) - 18 months

In this role you contribute to the development of our innovative medical devices. You will act as an interface to external service providers as well as internally to our colleagues and be an expert in the field of negative pressure wound therapy. You will support our team, which drives innovation in our products with passion and dedication. Responsibilities:

  • Technical project support for the development and further development of medical electrical devices/systems in the field of Wound Care
  • Life cycle management in compliance with regulatory rules and internal processes, including preparation of technical documentation
  • Support in the process of selecting external service providers (e.g. laboratory, development packages, expert opinions, etc.) as well as collaboration in the drafting of contracts (order, non-disclosure agreement, development contract)
  • Management and planning of pilot series production and its documentation in coordination with the production department or with external partners 

Qualifications:

  • Completed studies in natural science/engineering (e.g. electrical engineering, mechatronics, medical technology)
  • First practical experience in the development of medical devices (optimal in the field of professional wound care)
  • Technical understanding of electronic, software, manufacturing processes, statistical methods, etc.
  • Advantageous: Knowledge of Medical Devices Regulation and the associated specialist areas (e.g. application, biocompatibility, clinical evaluation, risk management, sterilisation, CE conformity, FDA, etc.)
  • Fluent in English, German language skills are beneficial
