Marketing Director

Italy, Verona

Hartmann Italy, the Italian branch of Hartmann Group (German health care listed company), is looking for a Marketing Director, based in our corporate offices in Verona but available for business trips in Italy and abroad.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts market research and competitor analysis
  • Identifies target markets
  • Elaborates and monitors the marketing strategy according to the Group guidelines and in close cooperation with the Managing Director Italy, Sales Directors of the inpatient and outpatient channels and Corporate Business Units Directors
  • Develops, implements and evaluates the marketing plan with activities aimed at increasing sales and maximizing profit
  • Manages and controls marketing budgets
  • Collaborates with other departments in the company to optimize the Marketing mix
  • Has overall responsibility for brand management and corporate identity
  • Represents the company during external meetings (beMedTech, etc...)
  • Manages the Marketing staff that report to him/her
  • Ensures the proper execution of their tasks and projects
  • Ensures coaching, motivation and skills’ development
  • Maintains a positive, effective and close dialogue with the international marketing team and participates in international meetings
  • Reports regularly to the Managing Director Italy, to whom he/she reports, on the evolution and results of the different activities and planned projects, sales results, market situation, etc: Strength of conviction/ability to gain buy-in, Teamwork skills, Ability to manage conflicts, Customer focus, Goal and indicator driven, Concern for profitability, Commitment/sense of initiative, Reliability, Vision, Creativity, Planning and organization, Project management, Decision-making skills, Strategic skills, Presentation and training skills, Problem solving skills, Comprehensive approach
  • Create specific advertising and PR plans to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
  • Responsible for planning marketing-related projects, and managing external marketing partners and vendors

Requirements: 

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in B2B and B2C Marketing of Medical Devices both nationally andinternationally. Marketing knowledge in both Outpatient and Inpatient contexts is required.
  • Global knowledge of the different product lines
  • Good commercial spirit
  • Market knowledge
  • Knowledge of products and services related to his/her area of responsibility
  • Medical knowledge
  • Process skills
