Export & Business Development Trainee

Take advantage of your new scope of action in the Business Development area at HARTMANN. 

 

Responsibilities

  • You will support the Export Manager on the “Strategic Africa Project”.

  • You will provide Commercial and Business Development support to our subsidiaries in Western Europe, Africa & Turkey region.

  • You will drive the definition of the strategy and implementation of the brand and commercial objectives, managing distributors and agents in the assigned countries.

  • Aligning with key distributors, you will support defining, negotiating, monitoring, and adapting plans and investments for each key market, each brand, and the retail channel. 

  • You will assist in implementing the figure of Area Sales Manager, both in Pharmacy and Hospitals channels, together with our representation in Africa.

  • You will back up the achievement of Market Studies, Benchmarking Analysis and, together with the Marketing team, you will define brand priorities in each market, according to the channel and its corresponding actions (sell-in and sell-out).

  • You will build and develop strong relationships in emerging markets in the region, such as Africa and Turkey.

  • Review and follow-up of forecast and new product launch plans in coordination with the team. Also, you will support monitoring the P&L by country and Order to Cash processes.

  • You will participate in the detection of new commercial opportunities, both in existing distribution channels and in new channels and countries.

  • You will ensure compliance with legal requirements, in terms of contracts and agreements with distributors and support in identifying opportunities as well as potential risks.

  • You might also support the Head of Business Development in M&A operations.

 

What we look for

  • You must have a university degree in Business Administration, Economics, International Relations, Marketing, Engineering, Biology, or related fields.

  • You must have a high command of English and French languages.

  • We are looking for a proactive, organized person with a passion for dealing with customers in an international and multicultural environment.

  • You must have a good command of Microsoft Office tools (mainly Excel and PowerPoint).

  • It is necessary to be able to establish a collaboration agreement for a minimum of 12 months.

  • After the agreement, in case of hiring, it will be essential to be available for international travel.
