About the Department:

Our QA&RA team supports the business by overseeing company’s accreditation and compliance, administration of the QA policies and procedures as well as maintaining and improving the regulatory side of our business. The team maintains relationships with government certifying bodies and actions all customer feedback. They are focussed on meeting all relevant local and international requirements, ensuring our products are compliant with such and thus can reach our customers and improve their well-being.


An exciting opportunity has become available for a driven Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to join our Team based at our Macquarie Park Office. This is a permanent full-time opportunity.

Here is what the role will include:

  • Maintain and improve current quality practices and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Plan and conduct internal audits
  • Organise and coordinate external audits
  • Perform follow up audits to review effectiveness of corrective actions
  • Monitor and investigate customer feedback to take appropriate corrective and preventative actions
  • Provide regular activity and status reports
  • Support document and policy reviews
  • Collaborate with global QA&RA teams on projects and activities
  • Train employees to understand Quality Management Processes and work in the Quality Management System
  • Participate in risk management and workplace health & safety activities
  • Support Regulatory Affairs in an administrative capacity
  • Perform other duties as directed to the manager

Skills, Experience & Behaviour:

  • Highly organized, has strong attention to detail and has strong work ethic
  • Proactive, self-driven and able to work autonomously
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills
  • Previous experience in a same or similar role is a must
  • Strong auditing skills
  • Experience in healthcare/medical device industry is preferred
  • Experience working within a Quality Management System
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Relevant tertiary qualification is desirable (e.g. science or engineering)
  • Advanced computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Applications
