Launch Leader (f/m/d)

For our production site in Herbrechtingen, we offer you an exciting and responsible role in a globally operating functional area. As Launch Leader you will be responsible for all plant level initiatives, savings, emergency qualification of materials with operational and start up excellence, and success criterias defined for projects. Furthermore, you will be leading, coaching and developing a team of startup leaders, project engineers and team leaders for area owners for project implementation, investment, scope and start up excellence. Your area of responsibility:                                                                                             

  • Lead teams for all product related projects in the plant at Herbrechtingen and be part of the plant leadership team on steering plant strategies, performance and daily operations
  • Lead projects DASHBOARD for the plant – KPIs for projects preparations, progress and results
  • Prioritize and centralize inputs to SCM on production plan needs and schedules related to the projects needs and plant business needs
  • Manage projects challenges, risks, needs with GSUM (Global Start-Up Management)
  • Ensure compliance to standards, requirements safety, quality, regulatory with projects implementation
  • Participate and involve operations via Value streams and equipment owners in projects preparation and implementation
  • Cross-functional work with R&D, Engineering, Quality, Marketing, Procurement and plant departments as well as international work with equipment suppliers and other HARTMANN plants
  • Coordinate materials management related to projects (masterdata, PIPO, waste etc.)

 

What we look for:

  • Completed university studies with a focus on process, mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering or similar
  • Several years of professional experience in production and project management ideally in hygiene products and awareness of the different LEAN approaches
  • IT affinity including Microsoft applications
  • Strong leadership skills with excellent communication skills and ability work in a multicultural and multilingual environment
  • Profound technical process knowledge and technical skills for loss elimination and technical solutions implementation
  • Assertiveness as well as high analytical understanding and problem-solving mentality
  • Good English and German language skills and the willingness to travel
