Senior Manager Global Portfolio Management (f/m/d)



In this role you will be coordinating our portfolio management with Risk Prevention Business Division (e.g. single-use surgical and pre-surgical products) on a global scale. A close interaction with our key countries (Italy, France, Spain, Poland) is the base for success in this role where you act as a networker and connector of people.

You will report to our Vice President Portfolio Management for Risk Prevention.


Your area of responsibility:  


  • Contribute to the establishment and execution of an aligned and targeted strategy for a designated product area within Business Division to meet our growth targets
  • Drive the product development pipeline considering customer needs and BDRP value proposition on infection prevention and customers processes improvement.
  • Monitor continuously market trends and developments, competitor activities in order to optimally influence the development and positioning of the assigned product range
  • Product Lifecycle Management und Brand Management for the area of responsibility: from idea generation to launch to exit, adhering to HARTMANN processes (e.g. PLM, Labeling)
  • Define the positioning and claims with appropriate level of evidence for the assigned products as well as conception and initiation of usability studies
  • Steering and collaboration of projects adhering to HARTMANN standards (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2)
  • Working closely with healthcare professionals in the in-patient sector in order to create and be responsive to a deep market understanding


What we look for:


  • Background in scientific or business linked studies or equivalent expertise gained through professional experience and/or professional development measures
  • Global experience in similar roles (Product manager, Portfolio Manager, etc.) enriched by previous experience in local markets (ideally tender driven markets, e.g. France, Spain, Italy, Poland)
  • 5+ years professional experience in marketing, ideally international and in the medical environment, as well as Marketing experience gained ideally on both, local and HQ level
  • Experience in project management and ideally in the management of international projects and working in cross-functional (matrix) and multi-cultural context
  • High market and customer orientation
  • Sales experience highly valuable
  • Fluent in English; French, German or another EU language is very much appreciated
